Happiness? Not at Fenway Park Last Night

There was nothing good for the Boston Red Sox last night as their comeback try failed and the White Sox prevailed by a score of 10-7. Their starting pitcher, Aceves, had an off night (to say the least). One bright note was Big Papi David Ortiz' three run tater. It wasn't enough, not by a long shot. This afternoon at 1:05pm EDT, it'll be Wakes versus Floyd. We need some good news and it might have something to do with John Lackey...

"John Lackey lasted 5 2/3 innings, allowed three hits and one run with no walks and four strikeouts in his rehab outing vs. Norfolk in Pawtucket tonight. He threw 63 pitches, 46 strikes."

After he's checked out, we should see him up here in a few days...if all goes right. We need him in that rotation...badly. Hello Lackey, bye (for now) Aceves.

That's all I have for you right now. The Boston Red Sox continue their mediocre play after an extended run of May magic. Let's hope this stops immediately. Click on this post's title for more depressing details and as always, BE WELL. Thanks.
