JD Drew-Powered Win For Boston

Boston Red Sox rightfielder JD Drew continued his torrid hitting by knocking in BOTH Boston Red Sox runs as the world champions defeated Seattle by a score of 2-1. Justin Masterson settled in and pitched six great innings, and from there, it was the bullpen's turn to shine. And they did! AGAIN. I'll have a full wrap of the game first thing Monday morning...here are the Sox pitching lines, just for a smile! C'mon, smile!!

Funny how the first 2 games were full of runs and then we finish with a 2-1 win. Drew has sure been awesome lately, glad to see him shine while Ortiz sits. Also very happy about Masterson, he is definitely making us happy with his performances!!

I agree, Laura. Right now, the team AND the 'pen are going well. Masterson has been great, Wakes looks like he might be ready to go on a hot streak and Beckett is again becoming more Beckett-like with every start. Now if we can only get our Papi back by the end of the month!
Always great to hear from you. I haven't commented much at your place but I'm there every other day. HAPPY SUMMER!
