Craig Hansen...A One Inning Savior?

This is from the Boston Herald, the quote from the man himself. Please read!...

“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardship and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”

Peter here. We need a Craig Hansen for an inning as a part of the bridge to Paps. He would mean so much. And so far, he's been doing great. Grasping at straws? Not me. That's all! And as Bruce said..."No Retreat, No Surrender." EVER and FOREVER...

Hansen has a real opportunity to make a nem forhimself now. The move of letting Tavarez go is a huge vote of confidence in him. They are basically saying, 'you can stay here as long as you can now'.

Last night he looked like he had confidence! Nice slider to go with the fastball!

Hey Peter!

Hansen, with ONE clean inning every time, almost completes (does complete??) that bridge (with Okie) to Paps. That might be so huge.

Rooster, he has confidence in every one of his pitches right now, and I hope he can keep on keeping on. HE IS SO NEEDED.

Well, hopefully developing strength leads to some wins, Peter! What's the point in being strong and LOSING?

;-)

Hi Lisa, and you're exactly on point, yet again. Hi to you on the eve of Beckett baseball tonight.

That's an awesome quote!
His slider is just plain nasty, and, even if it's just for an inning every few games, he'll be a great help.

I'm very confident that Josh will get us back on track tonight.

It's also going to be nice to see Kevin Millar again (I won't actually see him, but you know what I mean). He's just one of the players I've always loved...probably because of his goofiness. He's not exactly one of the best when it actually comes to playing, but he always knows how to put a smile on someone's face!

Hi Brittany...boy, the pitching that was so good is in the middle of a slump. Bigtime. Even Josh is no exception.
