Green Roses......And A Cigar

There they sat, in Red's seat. Red's seat for always. A bouquet of green roses, and on top of it, a cigar. And the players, past and present...Hondo, the Chief, Jo Jo and Bob Cousy. To name a few. All at the Garden to say goodbye to their coach, their leader, the architect of so much Celtics' greatness. For so long. And forever. Thank you Red. You will be missed.

Arnold Jacobs "Red" Auerbach came from the very Borough where I was born & raised & that is Brooklyn, NY:

As does "The Omnipotent Q";

& Red gave an interview to the NY Times(Owners of 17% of the Red Sox)telling them that "Brooklyn has more teams & bettah teams than in all of Indiana";

Ahhhh, his Cigar Smoke will be sooooo Missed in TD Banknorth Garden;

Smoke one in his honor, everybody!
