Gla(d)vine All Over

The Mets are up one game to zip, beating the St. Louis Cardinals 2-0 behind the pitching of Tom Glavine and a two run home run by Carlos Beltran. They have one more to play at Shea, tonight at 8:00, with the rookie John Maine facing the Cardinal's ace Chris Carpenter. This is the best chance for the birds to win a game. And earlier, in the first of three (if necessary), the Detroit Tigers, up two games to none, continue their march toward the ultimate prize. In the cold weather, hence the afternoon start. They have Kenny Rogers going against Rich Harden. Eight plus hours of baseball October style, on a Friday. Does it get better? Yes...the Sox could be playing. But..........I'll leave that one alone. Enjoy everyone!

I don't know if you watch "Lost" or not, but there was a guy on the island trying to prove to another guy on the island that he has contact with the outside world and he named several things (Bush's reelection being one) and then said the Red Sox won the series (this show started in '04) and the guy said, "If you had said ANY team but the Red Sox I might have believed you..." but then the first guy showed him a video of the win...it was just so funny!!

AMY, I do watch Lost......I saw show number one, and I have this past Wednesday's show on the DVR in Hi Def...they are with the "Others", who are cloaked in mystery. I will be watching the show tomorrow (Sat.) You're a fan? That's so great. Last season there was a certain someone who had a blog called BSM, and the link is over there on the right side, and he did the best recaps of the weekly Lost shows. Sadly, this year he has not been blogging, and no way I could try to duplicate his so much in depth analysis of each show. But if you want to post your thoughts on each episode as they go on for the next few weeks, I always get to the actual shows, in STUNNING HD, by Saturday. Maybe we could combine on one great Lost post per week. 2 different opinions on the same sensory input which is LOST. Let me know....thanks. And if you say yes, I'll watch it right now, at 10am Friday....ya know what? I'm going to do exactly that. And then after, our opinions could merge into one great post, on both of our blogs.....I will be back in one hour 10 minute. Thats the 62 minute LOST plus 2 quick breaks...your thoughts??

And forever might be one episode, or more. I'm so looking forward to today's baseball stuff. Thanks Laura. P.S. Did you find that story in your closet? I remember what it was about..........later..Me.
